Middle Grade books rarely disappoint me, so to find a gem such as this, makes me so grateful that I took a chance with it. What a lovely intensely emotional read Closer to NowhereIt left me feeling so very raw and open with my feelings and train of thought, and to just make sure that I never let anyone ever feel unwanted or unloved.

Told in verse from the alternating perspectives of Hannah and Cal, this is a story of two cousins who are more alike than they realize and the family they both want to save.
